The candidate must be proposed and seconded by two members, each of at least five years standing.
The Proposer should request for a Proposal Form from the Club which should be filled in and sent to the Secretariat
A detailed CV showing Personal, Educational and Professional details is required to be submitted along with the Proposal Form.
Candidates should be between thirty to seventy years of age.
The candidate must be in active service or practice, and therefore cannot be a retiree.
Post-graduation in any discipline is the minimum required qualification. Copy/ies of the post-graduation certificate/s are to be attached with the proposal for membership.
In case the candidate is a professional, he / she must be sufficiently eminent in his/her chosen field.
In case the candidate is an Entrepreneur, latest Annual Accounts of his/her Company along with the shareholding details must be submitted.
In case the candidate is working for a firm/company, the hierarchical structure of the firm/company must be submitted.
The latest Income Tax Return along with the Computation of Income must accompany the Proposal form for all candidates at the time of submission.
The candidate must be a permanent member of at least one major club of repute in Kolkata such as Tollygunge / Calcutta / Saturday / CC&FC / RCGC and RCTC or one major club with reciprocal arrangements elsewhere.
Eligibility & Rules for Corporate Membership
An application for Corporate Membership and Nomination Form is available. The same may be collected from the Secretariat during office working hours ie Monday – Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday – 10 am to 2 pm.
A Corporate of repute with a turnover of at least Rs 100 crores for the last three years can apply for Corporate Membership.
Such a corporate must have a net worth of at least Rs 25 crores for the last three years & a continuous track record of profitability for the last three years.
It must be in existence for the last ten years.
Three years’ Audited Annual Accounts along with Director’s Reports need to be supported with the proposal for Corporate Membership.
The corporate shall be entitled to nominate three persons for a period of five years.
Such nominees of the Corporate shall be its Senior Executives including Directors and be between thirty to seventy years of age. A detailed CV of the nominee also needs to be submitted at the time of filing the nomination.
The hierarchical position of the Nominees in the organisation also needs to be submitted.
